    Perfect solution for small footprint

I wanted to squeeze in some way to build muscle and do weight training in a small office room (~150 sq ft.). The Standalone F9 is so far the perfect fit for my small space, packing a lot of great features for the size it takes up. I really enjoyed my first trial workout and look forward to more.

Installation was mostly straightforward, but there were a few pitfalls. It was very convenient to have all the parts separated into bags, but the larger pieces didn't have labels, so there were times where I picked the wrong "mirrored" part and had to back track a bit. The pictures in the manual helped but were also not as detailed as I would have hoped. Basically imagine assembling an IKEA piece but with even less detail. Sometimes the steps also drifted from the bag labels - I think around step 23 it was off by 4-5 steps. As for the labor itself, it took me and another guy about 4-5 hours, mostly to ensure we triple checked everything against the vague instructions. You need to ensure you have a 3/8 socket and a good set of hex keys to make the job go faster. Don't do this without a socket wrench and a pair of pliers at a minimum.

The machine itself is high quality and feels like it will last quite a long time. It comes with the exact accessories needed to do a bunch of workouts. I was happy to purchase the extra specific bench, but it seems you could live without it as well. I like to keep it open as it is nice to look at and "draws you in" to pumping a little throughout the day.

There are two things I'd say could be improved. First, the lat bar could double as a bench press bar if there was a place to temporarily "hook" the lat bar into place. I could imagine two metal hooks on either side of the bench, situated off of the black attachment doors. If you own one of these, you probably can picture what I'm talking about. The second suggestion would be that the accessories rack has a lip on the end so that the rings don't slip off all the time.

Overall I'm happy with it and will review things once again after I figure out the right flow to maximize my time on the machine.

    Outstanding!

While I haven’t been able to use as much as I would’ve like yet, and I have a lot to learn about the techniques using a cable training (finding the right height positions for certain lifts for my body I mean), the machine is SOLID! Definitely not your typical online quality these days, much better. Motions are extremely smooth and I’m honestly shocked at how well the latches hold position when adjusting the pulleys with almost no “wiggle” in the components when lifting. Very versatile, too! I have some other dumbbells, but honestly don’t need to use them much anymore with this. Nice work Torque! I’ll be back for more something later! :)

    Absolutely amazing!

The unboxing was probably the hardest, then the whole machine to put together. The instructions were perfect and detailed and easy to read and the quality is second to none absolutely amazing almost commercial grade if it’s not, I love this machine reminds me of being back in the gym, except in the comfort of my own home, I highly recommend it. Thanks again. 5 stars.

Thank you for your business, Keith, and for taking the time to leave us this review on our F9 Adjustable Bench and the quality of the product and workout you have been receiving while using it! We appreciate you!
