About the Role

Torque Fitness is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join our in-house team in
Coon Rapids, MN. This entry-level role is ideal for someone with strong writing skills, a passion for fitness, and a desire to grow across a range of marketing disciplines. You’ll work closely with our Marketing Manager and cross-functional team to support a wide variety of marketing projects and tasks from content creation, email marketing, social media, influencer programs, tradeshows, website maintenance, and more.

What You’ll Do

Content & Copywriting

• Assist with writing and editing copy for product pages, landing pages, social posts, emails, and blog content
• Apply SEO best practices to all written content (metadata, keywords, linking, etc.)
• Help evolve and maintain a strong brand voice across all digital touchpoints

Email Marketing

• Assist in building and scheduling email campaigns and flows using Klaviyo
• Support list segmentation, A/B testing, and performance tracking
• Work to eventually take ownership of the email program, including campaign planning and execution

Social Media & Influencer Support

• Brainstorm and execute organic social content ideas that build brand awareness and engagement
• Write and schedule posts, monitor performance, and support community engagement
• Research and vet influencers and affiliates; assist with outreach and communication

Website & Digital Maintenance

• Make basic updates to the website (copy, images, product details, banners)
• Support product launches and seasonal refreshes
• Assist with routine QA and site optimization projects

Photo & Video Shoot Coordination

• Help with sourcing talent, securing wardrobe, scouting locations, and prepping shot lists
• Coordinate logistics and provide day-of support at photo and video shoots
• Ensure brand consistency across all visual content

Team & Project Support

• Conduct light competitive research or help prepare presentations and marketing collateral
• Support event or tradeshow execution as needed
• Assist with asset organization, scheduling, and general marketing operations

What We’re Looking For

Must-Haves:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field — or equivalent work experience
• 0–2 years of experience in marketing, content creation, or digital communications
• Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
• Basic understanding of SEO principles and how to apply them to digital content
• Familiarity with major social platforms and trends (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn)
• Passion for fitness and wellness — ideally with working knowledge of strength training, home fitness, or performance training
• Strong organizational skills and a proactive, team-oriented attitude
• Available to work in-person 4 days a week in our Coon Rapids office, with 1 remote day

Bonus Skills:

• Email platform experience (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, etc.)
• Light design skills (Canva, Adobe Express, Figma, etc.)
• Familiarity with Shopify or other CMS platforms
• Previous coordination of influencers, UGC creators, or photoshoots
• Basic analytics/reporting knowledge (GA4, Meta, etc.)

Come join our fast-paced growing sales team and be a part of an expanding category within the fitness industry. This entry level sales role will gain valuable experience by supporting Torque’s Outside Sales Representatives and enhancing the overall customer experience from start to finish with new and existing relationships within our customer database. This person will help engage with customers by creating product quotes, process sales orders, and handling delivery management. 

Reporting directly to the Inside Sales Manager, this role’s performance will be measured by their ability to become an expert in our product lines, quality and timeliness of sales proposals, and their ability to engage and interact with customers. 

Working knowledge of Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and above average computer skills is preferred, but not mandatory. 

Specific Role Responsibility: 

• • Supply support to assigned Outside Sales Team member(s). 
• • Actively contribute and take part in sales meetings and company goals and objectives. 
• • Assist in project layouts in 3D software and aid X-Team Design. 
• • Manage the sales process for new and assigned accounts until turned over to Outside Sales. 
• • Log all activity into the company’s customer relationship management system. Including, but not limited to leads, quotes, orders, and returns. 
• • Consistently manage quotes and orders in company CRM. 
• • Perform other related duties as assigned. 

Candidate Background Requirements: 

• • Strong people skills are needed as this position works closely with peer inside team, outside sales, VP of Sales and Torque Fitness customer base. 
• • Development and maintenance of business relationships is key to success in this role. 
• • Outstanding communication skills both oral and written. 
• • Attention to detail and strong customer service skills no matter the size of the task. 
• • Ability to effectively communicate and interface with peers as well as executive level management. 
• • Excellent organizational skills, able to set priorities, and responsive to customer requests. 
• • Demonstrated ability to execute results against strategy and meet critical deadlines. 
• • Demonstrate business knowledge, perspective, and ethical behavior. 
• • Initiative-taking and enthusiastic. 
• • Ability to adapt and shift focus quickly and accurately. Level decision making in instances of pressure or challenge. 
• • Knowledge/experience in the fitness industry helpful, but not needed. 

Location: Coon Rapids MN in office only. 

Hours per week: Fulltime (Monday-Friday) 

Type of Pay: Hourly 

Wage:Starting Range 18-22$/Hr. 

PTO;3 weeks (15 Days) PTO yearly with 40 hr. rollover
