Order/Customer Service: 10/10 – worked with Lucas throughout the order, shipment and delivery process and he has been absolutely amazing. Great customer service so far!
Delivery: 8/10 – Delivery was slightly delayed, and the package got delivered a little bit more banged up than I would have liked for such an expensive item but nothing was damaged. The delivery guy was amazing and pulled the package all the way into my garage.
Assembly Instructions: 7/10 - The instruction manual is not very clear and could use a lot more detailed instructions specially for the pulley installation. I found that their online manual is more detailed than the one they physically print and send. It would also be very helpful if all of the loose items such as the different screws and washer etc. were actually labeled to take out the guess work. I would give the installation manual a 7/10. The overall installation is very easy once you figure it out, so be ready to redo one or two steps.
Machine: 9/10 - This cable machine is well built and is a beast. Don’t let the compact slim design fool you. The built is solid and seems very sturdy once installed to the studs. The cables feel very smooth. I love the narrow low-profile design, and it fits perfectly in the garage. Very impressed and happy with the purchase so far. My only complains are: 1) I wish it had stickers/labels for how much each stack weighs rather than a numeric value and 2) I wish the 225lbs weight stack wasn’t all in 15lbs increments. Would have been nice if a handful of those were 10lbs.
Absolutely love my new machine. Perfect size for my small gym.
I’ve had my Anker 7 for about a month now. Delivery was great, everything was well packaged. I give the instructions an 8/10. They were a little unclear at times and I had to go back and redo a few steps (especially with routing the cable through the various pulleys).
Since putting it together though it’s been all 10/10. The construction is solid, the movement is smooth. I love the different height adjustment options. The narrow profile is even more impressive in person.
I’ve only been using Anker 7 for a few weeks but so far I like it a lot! The assembly wasn’t too difficult but required attention to every detail. I anchored the machine to a standard drywall beams with 12 massive screws and it feel very sturdy and stable. It’s well built in terms of the overall quality of parts, although some people complained that the rollers weren’t made of metal. To me they seem ok and definitely provide very smooth operation. I’m very happy so far with the purchase!
I highly recommend this product, I love it . I use it daily.
