Reviews
I went back and forth between the Relentless Ripper and the traditional Concept2 Skierg and after watching Coop from GGR review this (and a couple extra months of mulling it over) I decided to pull the trigger during the Black Friday sale. I am SO happy I did. Feels great just like the Skierg, but takes up no floor space in my garage gym, and even at 6’4” I can use my rack with no alteration. One of Coop’s critiques was if using a butterfly stroke, the cord rubs against the pulley mount, THEY FIXED THE DESIGN and it doesn’t rub (see picture). The only gripe I have is when sprinting the stroke split number can fluctuate unreasonably, I mean it will throw a 1:10-3:10 every few strokes. Although the avg seems to be accurate so not a big deal. Construction is solid (just like I’ve come to love with my Tank M4), and went together with ease. It is heavy, so if mounting 8ft high on a rack, grab a partner to help you wrangle it. Thanks to Max for being a solid sales rep, again and again! If you’re on the fence between this and the Skierg like I was, get yourself one of these, you won’t be disappointed.
Awesome product and great service.
Saw this at the Games last year and was immediately sold on it as the unit does NOT require any floor space. With a 500 sq. foot space for the gym, floor space is at a premium. With 10 different resistance settings, replicating the "feel" of a ski-erg is very doable. Ordered prior to release and got ours early February. Been using with our Athletes for the last couple weeks, first impressions are that it is a solid piece of equipment that does exactly what we needed it for. Very pleased.
